Sharon Reddick has spent over twenty years working in the judicial system as an advocate for children and their families. Sharon began her career in the District Attorney's Office as a victim witness coordinator helping victims of violent crimes - including thousands of domestic violence victims and their children - navigate their way through the court system. While still working as a victim witness advocate and raising a family, Sharon attended law school at night. Upon graduation, she remained in the D.A.'s Office and began her career as a prosecuting attorney with a full case load of domestic violence and other serious felonies including rape, robbery, and homicide. For many years, she served specifically as a child sexual and physical abuse prosecutor handling hundreds of difficult cases with the most vulnerable of victims. With over fifty jury trials in her background, Sharon brings a vast amount of court room experience to work for her clients.
Sharon handles family law matters for the firm. She brings her background as an advocate for children to assist her clients in addressing their legal problems and working through the many related issues that challenge families. Sharon is an experienced negotiator and an experienced trial attorney and she uses that experience to maximize each of her client's opportunities for a positive outcome.
Sharon is also a trained Rule 31 mediator and can assist parties in mediation reach mutually agreeable and mutually beneficial resolutions to their disputes; thereby, sparing them the financial and emotional expense of going to trial.
A life-long resident of Nashville, Sharon is a cum laude graduate of Vanderbilt University and also earned a Masters in Divinity from Vanderbilt Divinity School. She earned her law degree from the Nashville School of Law, where she was the Founder’s Medalist having earned the highest grade point average in her class.
